Cancellations due to major causes will not be penalised: Major causes shall be considered to be those reasons that prevent the reservation holder from traveling, which must be justified without exception and exclusively affect the reservation holder and not the accompanying persons (e.g.: illness of the reservation holder, restriction for the reservation holder to travel, death of a relative of the reservation holder, accident of the reservation holder, etc.) |
Reservation changes: You can change your reservation at any time without penalty. The only condition is that the total cost must be equal to or greater than the original reservation.

4.Fuel Policy
We apply a full-to-full policy. If the vehicle is not returned with a full tank of fuel, a price per liter always higher than the current market price will be charged due to management costs.
5.Requirements for rent
Failure to submit the minimum required documentation will be the customer’s responsibility, and may result in cancellation without prior notice (we recommend checking in online or at the office prior to booking to ensure everything is correct).

Drivers who do not meet the following rental conditions will not be rented:
If the client does not have the necessary documentation and/or does not meet the conditions, the rental transfer will be facilitated to another holder who does meet the requirements, free of charge. This new holder will be responsible for the deposit and ultimately responsible for the rental contract.
If the reservation cannot be transferred to another eligible holder, it will be considered the customer’s fault, and the cancellation policy for reservations with short notice will apply (cancellation without refund, with the option to postpone the reservation for the following 12 months from the date of the failed delivery).
6. Returning the vehicle to other offices
The return of the vehicle in another office can have a supplement. On our online reservation form, customers can check the final price and make a reservation with a return to another location.
If the customer has not booked a return to another office, prior authorization from Davima is required.
7. Driving outside national territory
Travel outside the country will only be permitted with prior notification to the office and the purchase of EU international insurance.
8. Compliance with Royal Decree 933/2021
In compliance with Royal Decree 933/2021, of October 26, DAVIMA MOTORS, S.L. may record and communicate certain personal data and data related to the rental transaction to the State Security Forces. This processing is mandatory and is based on compliance with a legal obligation.
9. Personal Data Protection
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Organic Law 3/2018, we inform you that your personal data will be processed for the purpose of managing your reservation, contract, and service provision, as well as, where applicable, for related commercial communications.
The legal basis for processing is the execution of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and, where applicable, express consent.
The data will be retained for the required legal periods and will not be disclosed to third parties unless required by law or when operationally necessary for the service.
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability by writing to N-340, km 1052, 12500 Vinaròs (Castellón) or by email to info@davima.net.
10. Civil liability
The company will not be liable for any thefts caused by the loss of personal belongings in the car, nor for any indirect losses (such as loss of profits, loss of enjoyment, or loss of opportunity).
